CHURCHER’S College Junior School Year 4 were in equal measures challenged and excited during their trip to the Three Peaks Centre at Barfield School.
In an exciting day that featured activities as diverse as quad biking, low ropes, archery and paintballing, the children really had a chance to challenge themselves.
The pupils managed to have a great day out and showed real team spirit at all times.
Initially some had reservations about the climbing activities but managed to participate well and achieve a personal best. One pupil described the experience he had on the high ropes and said: “I was really proud of myself. When I got up to the top it was awesome.” The day was organised by Matt Forbes, who is the head of outdoor learning at Churcher’s College Junior School.
