AN ART exhibition celebrating Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is the latest display at Petersfield Museum.
The community gallery’s walls will include art works by Jacky Dillon and Anita Lawrence.
The exhibition, which runs until Saturday, mirrors Alice’s struggle to find her way out of the situations she is faced with, dealing with constant flux and change, yet all the time learning new skills as she travels through a strange, but not entirely unfamiliar land.
Through her many adventures we gain an understanding of the complexity of the human condition – as well as the consequences of rash decisions.
The community gallery is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 4pm. A museum entrance fee applies.
Next Tuesday will see the opening of the next temporary exhibition in Petersfield Museum, which runs until November 25.
‘We Are Petersfield’ will be a community-curated display, showcasing a combination of museum exhibits with items loaned by members of the community, exploring what living in Petersfield means to various people.
