JOIN Ripstop Theatre in the Mill Studio at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre on Saturday, April 8, for your chance to go on A Real Alien Adventure and be an astronaut for the day.

Follow intrepid explorer Miss Amelia Buttersnap, inventor of some most marvellous gadgets and investigator of all things mysterious, on her intergalactic mission to prove that aliens exist.

Formed in 1998 by Zannie Fraser, Ripstop Theatre specialises in creating exciting shadow theatre productions for young people. Following on from the success of Amelia’s two previous adventures, they’re back with an original story that takes her into the furthest reaches of the galaxy.

Zannie said: “We had such great reactions from A Real Fairy Story and A Real Mermaid’s Tale and I had so much fun playing this Edwardian/Steam Punk adventurer, that we decided to create a third story for her but this time in a space adventure.”

Featuring great shadow puppetry and accompanied by a specially commissioned musical score, A Real Alien Adventure is guaranteed to intrigue and enchant children and adults alike.
