ALTON College student Scarlett Aylen has completed a human rights work placement in Ghana, under the Projects Abroad scheme.
She said: “The aim of the trip was to help teach children and adults their basic human rights, an education we take for granted here, but which is vital in developing countries such as Ghana, where some children didn’t realise that physical abuse was illegal.”
