Alton Branch Labour Party members and officers joined more than 50 Communication Workers Union staff on a picket line in Alton to show solidarity with them in their dispute with Royal Mail.

Alton Labour chair Ian Abbott said: “British people expressed their support for key workers such as posties during the pandemic and this is how the Royal Mail and government reward them.”
