THERE’S an American flavour to April’s Petersfield Comedy Club night with both the opening act and the headliner making rare appearances from across the pond.

Opening act on Easter Monday at the Folly Bar in College Street is Cole Parker who’s been based in Los Angeles for the last few years, working in comedy and as an actor.

He exploded on to the UK comedy scene in 2000 and six months later won Comedian of the Year. This is a rare visit back to the UK and one of his few UK dates.

Closing the show is American Dave Fulton, and nothing escapes his sardonic humour.

Known as a tough-talking, risk-taking man, there’s not much he’s not prepared to focus his wit on.

According to club organiser Chaz Collett, whoever it was who decided that Americans don’t have any sense of irony, they forgot to tell Dave Fulton.

The middle act has had to be replaced at short notice.

For an update on the full line up, visit the club’s Facebook page @PetersfieldComedy Club.

Tickets for the show are £6 in advance from the Folly Bar (downstairs), and £7 on the door.

The show starts at 8.30pm on Monday.
