A FEW stalls are left for any good causes, craftspeople or traders to be involved in Petersfield’s giant Christmas charity fair.
The event, at the Festival Hall, on Saturday, December 3, from 9.30am to 3pm, always has been well supported by the community since it started 15 years ago.
Jeremy Holmes, who runs the event with his brother, Martin, and other family members, said that, with their companion Easter fair, which started in 1988, it was one of the longest-running regular supporters for Portsmouth Hospitals’ Rocky Appeal.
The current appeal is for £2.4m to maintain the Da Vinci robot which delivers pioneering digital keyhole surgery.
Among the many charities already booked to have stalls at the Christmas fair are The Rosemary Foundation, the Red Cross and Petersfield Open Air Pool.
