PETERSFIELD Museum is appealing for diaries, information and personal items of those who came from the town and its surrounding villages and either fought in, or lived through, the First World War.
The museum is planning to run a range of events, activities and exhibitions, to commemorate this years’ centenary of the end of the war in 1918.
A museum spokesman said: “Our commemorations won’t just focus on those who lost their lives during the war but all those whose lives were impacted as a result of the conflict.
“As well as Petersfield, we will also include the surrounding villages in our commemorations, and we are asking anyone with information on family members, friends or people from their own research to get in touch.”
Those with information are asked to contact museum Learning and Community Engagement Officer, Ryan Watts, so he can look to include it in the commemorations.
