THE LISS and District branch of the Royal Naval Association held their first meeting of the year at the Royal British Legion in Liss.

Charlie Kemp, who is a guide at Jane Austen’s Chawton home, gave a talk about the author at the meeting on January 19.

The next meeting is the annual general meeting of the branch, which will be held at the Royal British Legion in Liss at 8pm on Tuesday, February 16.
