OPENING by the end of this month, a new craft beer bar and restaurant will be bringing a taste of America to Petersfield.

Charles Street Tap, in the renovated former Jacobs and Hunt Auction Rooms, will offer quality craft beers and American wines, cocktails and freshly-cooked meals.

The business is owned by local entrepreneurs Jonathan Berry, Daniele Oliva and David Heath, and the bar will be run by Regina Cucina, which also manages the Queen’s?Head in Sheet.

David said:?“It is the first new bar in new premises in Petersfield for a long time.” He added it would give an “authentic drinking and dining experience.”
