LANGRISH House was the venue for the village’s first autumn fundraising fair, which raised £1,800 for the village church, St John the Evangelist.

The Talbot Room in the house was the venue for the two hours of festivities on Sunday, November 5.

Reverend Katy Garner, standing in for East?Meon and Langrish vicar Reverend Jane Ball, said: “It’s great to see the community pull together and both villages are committed in putting on a great event. We had a few extra attractions this year, including lantern making for the children, and hot dogs.”

As well as lending the room for the fair, Langrish House provided refreshments.

Langrish House proprietor Nigel Talbot-Ponsonby said: “It was a wonderful opportunity for the village to get together.”
