HAMPSHIRE Constabulary is getting ready to delve into the festive spirit with a special concert packed full of your favourite Christmas carols.
People across the county are invited to join in the festivities and attend the annual Christmas concert being held by the Band of Hampshire Constabulary on Sunday, December 6.
The popular yuletide celebration will be held at 7.30pm at St Andrews Garrison Church, Queens Avenue, in Aldershot.
Admission is free and there will be a collection for police charities and the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service. Complimentary mince pies and refreshments will also be provided.
Members of the Band are retired and serving police officers, police staff, their families and friends who all volunteer to make up the uniformed band.
This year the band is being led by Major Pete Curtis MBE.
Deputy Chief Constable, Graham McNulty said: “We are looking forward to seeing people of all ages at this year’s concert at St Andrews Garrison Church.
“It is a special evening of festive celebration that brings people together to mark the countdown to Christmas.
“Hampshire Constabulary plays an important role in our local communities and this is an opportunity to unite and spread some festive cheer.”
All are welcome to attend on the evening.
