THE GOOD Intent pub in Petersfield continues to promote itself as a premier venue for live music in the town, with forthcoming gigs to suit all musical tastes.
Playing the 1970s and 1980s hits of seminal British prog rock band Genesis are tribute band Nursery Cryme. They take to the stage at the pub in College Street on Saturday (January 28), at 8.30pm.
They’ll be focusing on the band’s formative years from the albums ‘Trespass’ to ‘And Then There Were Three’.
Nursery Cryme is made up of frontman Tim Rault-Smith, guitarist Martin Child, bassist Oran Halberthal, drummer Chris Newhall and Chris Salt on keyboards.
Tickets are £5.
Other gigs in the coming weeks are free, including acclaimed folk singer Jack Grace on Sunday (January 29).
If you are more into the blues, don’t miss classic blues band Power of 3 on Sunday, February 5.
With his unique homage to Rat Pack crooners Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, local performer Will Rawlings brings his ‘Brat Pack’ tribute to the pub on Saturday, February 11.
Sunday, February 26 sees stars of the pub’s open mic evenings?– Chloe and Josie – make their second performance as a duo there.
