A wargame is a strategy game which deals with military operations of various types, real or fictional. Wargaming is the hobby dedicated to the play of such games.

Black Hole Wargamers is the town’s wargaming club. It meets every fortnight on Saturday mornings at St Peter’s Church Hall, St Peter’s Road, Petersfield and also organises less frequent, larger-scale games.

The club has around 20 members who play a range of science-fiction, fantasy and historical wargames including Warhammer 40k, X-Wing, Warhammer Fantasy and Bolt Action.
