THE CONCERT being given by the gemini consort on March 5 in St Peter’s Church, Petersfield, is devoted to wonderful, varied music by baroque composers, especially Handel.

The composer’s Coronation anthem My heart is Inditing is a highlight.

There are also solos, duets and choruses from oratorios and operas, some familiar, others less so.

Music by Purcell, from Dido and Aeneas, can be enjoyed, and instrumental music for recorder, flute and trumpet.

Lucy Humphris will be playing the natural trumpet.

Admission is free and the retiring collection will be given to The Rosemary Foundation.

Ann Pinhey will be selling her artwork too to boost funds for the hospice-at-home charity.
