Following the cancellation of last year’s Berefest at East Meon, organisers say this year’s real ale and music festival is all set to go ahead at a new venue.

Event spokesman Annabel Tyrwhitt-Drake said: “We’re moving it to another part of the Bereleigh Estate – the beautiful Mascombe Valley on the edge of East Meon, where there will be a large open-sided marquee and lots of outside space.

“The Longest Day Berefest is all set to go ahead on Saturday, June 26, as a one-day event with live music featuring the ever-popular Damian Lodrick Band (pictured right) supported by The Nick Chandler Band.”

Festival goers will be able to sample a selection of more than 20 beers and ciders while socialising with friends and family, listening to music, and eating local food surrounded by beautiful countryside.

And as well as the music and beer tasting, festival goers will also be able to try their hand at axe throwing with the Axe Throwing Company.

Gates open at midday and the festival closes at midnight. Tickets are now on sale and cost £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s. Under-fives are free.
