JOIN a fun, festive celebration of the yuletide our ancestors would have known with Blast from the Past.
This cast of musicians and actors is back in Bordon to entertain you again with an evening of music, song, stories and drama from the time of Dickens and Hardy.
They will be playing your favourite carols, with song sheets provided so you can join in, as well as introducing you to some more obscure but no less beautiful midwinter songs from the 19th century.
They will also perform a festive mummers’ play featuring St George’s battle against the villainous Turkish Knight, presided over by Father Christmas himself.
Finally, there’s a Christmas tale of the court of King Arthur, a figure revived in the Victorian era by authors and poets such as Scott and Tennyson, with damsels in distress, deeds of chivalry, an epic quest and a happy ending.
