Blondie's 1978 hit Hanging On The Telephone was the inspiration for this photograph by Alton Camera Club member Renee Smith.

The picture, appropriately featuring a fair-haired girl holding on to the receiver, gave her a perfect ten score from judge Geoff Young.

It also won Renee the club’s annual Song Title competition, which this year attracted an impressive 64 entries.
