RAIL travellers may soon be able to borrow nearly-new books if plans to put a book case in Petersfield railway station go ahead.
A meeting of the East Hampshire Rail Partnership heard that due to the popularity of book cases in stations like Rowlands Castle, there were plans to install a book case at Petersfield, so that passengers could borrow, and return, books, donate ones they had read, or even buy ones to help fundraise for charities.
