BORDON centenarian Joyce Evans celebrated her big day with former friends and colleagues from Blackmoor and Whitehill Women’s Institute (WI).
Joyce had been a member of the WI, including serving a term as president, so she was especially pleased with the entertainment at her 100th birthday party, which was provided by the Ukuladies, who are three current members of Blackmoor and Whitehill WI who play the ukulele.
More than 100 other friends and family gathered at Oak Lodge, in Hendon Road, Bordon, where Joyce now lives, to help her celebrate the special occasion last Thursday with a buffet and celebratory cake.
