POLICE have asked for the public’s help following a hit and run in Clanfield which left a 16-year-old boy with a broken foot.
Officers are determined to track down the driver of a dark grey BMW 3 Series which failed to stop following the collision on Appleton Close on Sunday (February 25).
The victim suffered serious injuries to both feet and was taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
The accident took place around 2.30pm while police have reported that the BMW initially stopped before driving away from the scene.
“We are keen to speak to the driver or any passengers that may have been in the BMW,” said PC Andrew Day from the Joint Roads Policing Unit.
“If you were the driver or know who was driving then please get in touch.”
