ONCE again, Bramshott will be opening its gardens to visitors over the weekend of Saturday, June 11, and Sunday, June 12.

With more than 1,000 visitors, this popular event which is held every two years, raises funds for local good causes, including Macmillan Cancer Care.

Entrance to the two days costs just £6 for adults, with children who are 12 years old and under free of charge. The ticket entitles the holder to visit over both of the days.

Opening times on both days are 11.30am to 5pm.

There is a shuttle bus which runs around the village, to enable gardens along the lanes to be visited, and there is a refreshment tent serving lunches and teas, alongside a barbecue. Other houses in the village will also be offering refreshments, and inside the 13th century church of St Mary’s there will be a flower festival.

Bramshott was home to the late actor Boris Karloff.
