AN APPRENTICE working for an East Hampshire firm has won a top award at the college he attends.
Jake Hickman has been awarded the Best Level Three Carpenter and Joinery Apprentice of the Year prize by Chichester College.
Jake has just completed his three year apprenticeship in bench joinery.
The former The Petersfield School student has been working for J Clark Joinery Limited, which is based in Colemore, since leaving the school while he attends the West Sussex-based college.
John Clark Joinery is a bespoke joinery company with more than 80 years combined experience.
The company offers a wide range of products and joinery services, from doors and windows to hand-made kitchens and staircases.
Jake’s new skills will be put to the test at the firm as it has completed a wide variety of projects.
