Seat Leon driver wanted after dangerous getaway from police in LissLiss Connected attracted 24 businesspeople on January 20, for an hour of networking and local business news. Norad Travel Group hosted the gathering in its offices at Brow’s Farm Business Park in West Liss. The group meets every two months over coffee. Meetings are held in a different business location each time and offer a relaxed venue for attendees to hear business and council news as well as talks from other entrepreneurs.
Norad Travel Group marketing manager Nicola Green said: “Liss Connected offers a relaxed environment to talk business. Everyone is really friendly and happy to share information and advice.”
Organiser Keren Burney, of PR firm Compege, said: “The meeting is informal in style but there will be time put aside for everyone to introduce themselves briefly at the next event. Feedback from the meeting suggests that many of the attendees would like to listen to, or give, a short talk about their business.”
Many regular attendees were at the meeting as well as new faces and representatives of East Hampshire District Council and Liss Parish Council.
