GRADUATING apprentices based at a company in Waterlooville were presented with their certificates by MP for Meon Valley George Hollingbery.
Serco’s design and integration team was delighted to welcome him back for the presentation. Mr Hollingbery first met Sam Targett and Oliver Bodenham, when he visited earlier this year.
He said: “It was great to come back to Serco to meet Sam and Oliver again now they’ve completed their apprenticeships.
“It’s so important that young people now have a real choice as to how they pursue further education either through university or an apprenticeship.”
Serco is working with industry partners and customers to develop skills and increase the number of young people being trained in areas where there are skill shortages. It is also working to provide experience for apprentices and share programmes, both across industry and with its customers.
