FESTIVE shoppers are being urged to venture into the Chapel Street area of Petersfield by two new store owners.

Lynn White, owner of Stuff, and Lizzie Greville, who owns Halsa, moved into neighbouring shops in the summer.

And they would like to see more visitors in that part of town, as they feel it offers eclectic shopping where more unusual and interesting presents can be found.

“Customers say that they really like this end of town,” said Lynn, who runs Stuff as a family business with her builder husband Gary upcycling furniture, her sister Niki painting furniture and her mother-in-law Anne running up cushions.

She sells everything from lamps with bases made from musical instruments to ceramics.

Next door Lizzie offers a range of natural products, including soaps, candles and bath bombs, as well as Christmas gift sets. “It’s much brighter in this part of town now,” she added.
