A Petersfield firm is making dreams come true for people with a snoring partner as their revolutionary invention has caught the eye of a major UK retailer.

Sleepless nights could become a thing of the past thanks to Zeus Sleep Ltd as they’ve produced an anti-snoring device, writes Marcus Fairweather.

The device produced by the Bedford Road firm is more than a decade in the making being the result of a partnership which started in 2010.

‘I feel immense pride, personally in everything the company have achieved, and with the results of our team’s incredibly hard work,” said Nigel Clarke, CEO of Zeus Sleep.

“I’m a glass half-full person and we’ve come a long way in nearly two decades so the more people we can help with this device, the better.”

The portable and “non-intrusive” device is lightweight, fits directly under the chin, and has been clinically proven to reduce snoring with minimal discomfort.

Its efficiency has been confirmed by more than 15 years of professional research and three independent clinical trials. There are no masks or tubes, just a bit of light electrical stimulation.

From its beginnings as a start-up business and collaboration between engineer, Howard Clarke and professor, John Moxham, Zeus Sleep quickly blossomed into a 15-year partnership based on the shared vision to improve the sleep quality of one million people over the next decade.

Its success continues to grow and it is going to be the recipient of a grant worth nearly £1.5million from the NHS for a three-year sleep study with 186 participants, thought to be the biggest sleep trial of its kind in the UK.

The company is having a big impact outside the region as well, with the device set to go on sale in Boots in October.
