FROM marching feet to clattering keyboards, two former barrack blocks in Bordon have been transformed into office space.
Part of the former Quebec Barracks has been turned into commercial space, alongside homes and community facilities being developed by Radian.
Head of Partnership and Projects for Radian Christopher Bartlett said: “Quebec Park is one of the initial phases of an exciting regeneration of Whitehill and Bordon following the withdrawal of the former Royal Engineers barracks from the area.
“For local business owners considering new commercial premises, Quebec Park will be a great location from which to trade. The continuously expanding local community will be a source of potential employees for companies looking to invest and expand into the area; or for new businesses looking for office space to launch their business.
“Alternatively, for firms with a larger size requirement, the space can be made available on a floor by floor basis and, subject to lease terms, the entire building can be made available to a single occupier.”
Radian is now looking for businesses to occupy the space, which will be ready later this year.
The commercial space features open plan, highly flexible office accommodation starting from 400sq ft, a reception and meeting room, high speed broadband, car parking and disabled WC facilities.
Philip Holmes, Partner at Vail Williams, the commercial agent working with Radian to source occupiers for the premises, said: “Transport links around Bordon are fantastic with the A3 close by, giving access to London and Portsmouth.
“Bordon town centre can be accessed from the A3 via the A325 which runs through the town and links Bordon with surrounding towns such as Farnham, Farnborough, Aldershot and Guildford. The completion of the Hindhead Tunnel has vastly improved travelling times from London to the south coast.”
As well as the commercial space, Radian is responsible for a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes and a community café. This will provide a focal point and social hub for the community.
