A JUNIOR football team is looking good on and off the pitch thanks to a donation from the builder of a new Petersfield estate.
David Wilson Homes donated £1,400 to Petersfield Town Juniors Football Club as part of the firm’s commitment to supporting residents in areas where they’re building.
The U12s Pumas side will look even better mauling their opponents as the donation paid for new team kits, training wear and manager tops.
The Causeway Farm developer will be watching the team’s progress very closely according to their managing director, Jon Green.
He said: “We wish them huge success and enjoyment over the coming seasons.”
Martin Ewen from the football club said: “We’re absolutely over the moon with this donation.
“It has enabled the team to receive a new kit and tracksuits for the entire squad and management.”
