A DOZEN business people met to discuss community issues and swap cards at a Liss Connected meeting.
The event was hosted by Norad Travel at Brow’s Farm Business Park in Liss.
The group welcomed East Hampshire District Council’s employment and skills lead on economic development, Sarah Flamson, who talked about the council’s business start-up grants and apprenticeship programme.
Congratulations were given to Campbell Wilson who has passed a financial services exam.
The group will work hard at raising its profile in the village so that more businesses can benefit from its potential. Business people are invited to join the 39 businesses already on the Liss Connected group on Facebook, which is open to residents who wish to buy from local sources.
