GO-GETTING jobseekers in the South East have launched more than 6,400 new businesses through a government scheme to boost self-employment and drive innovation.
The New Enterprise Allowance (NEA), unveiled in 2011, has given government funding and on-going expertise to those setting up their own firms in everything from manufacturing and technology to leisure and fashion.
