LISS Forest resident Caitlin Allsop has had her waist length hair cut off for charity and donated it to the Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children affected by cancer. Caitlin had her hair cut off at Eden Hair, Haslemere.
Caitlin said: “Thank you so much to Holly and everyone at Eden Hair for helping me donate 19 inches of my hair to Little Princess Trust and making me feel confident with my new short hair.
“Also a big thank you to everyone that has donated to my JustGiving page. I never could have imagined that we’d be able to raise so much, so thank you all for your generosity. My JustGiving page is still open and I hope more money can be raised for this worthwhile cause.”
A Little Princess Trust spokesman said: “We are delighted that Caitlin decided to cut her hair and donate it to the Little Princess Trust. It’s such a brave decision to cut off a lot of hair but we are hugely grateful as we can use Caitlin’s donated locks to make real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair. Receiving a wig has a profoundly positive effect on those we assist. Thank you, Caitlin, and thank you to all of your supporters.”
Caitlin has raised £295 so far. To donate visit www.justgiving.com/fundraising/caitlin-allsop
