A BEAUTIFUL cold and frosty day greeted parents and pupils arriving at Ditcham Park School for the school’s Christmas Shopping Village.

And adding to the festive atmosphere as the visitors arrived to enjoy festive fun in a Christmas grotto, and enjoy the colourful stalls and games, was the school choir singing Christmas carols in the entrance hall.

Younger children enjoyed the bouncy castle, a Christmas pudding rodeo, and trying their luck on yuletide themed tombola’s and games, including ‘Pin the tail on the reindeer’ and ‘The Human Bauble Machine.’

Seasonal refreshments were provided in Santa’s tearoom and café.

Money raised from the event organised by The Friends of Ditcham Park School will go towards enhancing the pupil’s education and extra-curricular activities.

The fair launched the school’s Christmas celebrations which include carol concerts, and a nativity play.
