AROUND £660 was stolen after a popular cafe at a Petersfield beauty spot was ransacked on Remembrance weekend.

The incident, which took place some time between 6pm and midnight on Saturday, November 10, meant the cafe was unable to accept card payments the following day.
An appeal for witnesses has now been made. Anyone who was at the pond and noticed anything suspicious around the time of the incident should call Hampshire Police on 101.
