IMAGES of a man suspected of breaking into two cars at a Meon Valley beauty spot have been released by the police.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in this CCTV image as part of an investigation into thefts at Old Winchester Hill car park off Hayden Lane, near Warnford.

A mobile phone, sat nav and wallet were stolen from two cars sometime between 7pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, May 3.

The white male suspect - who is around 16 to 21, has a slim build, dark hair and is around 5ft 9ins tall - also attempted to use a bank card from the stolen wallet to withdrawn money.

Officers have been making enquiries into this incident and are now in a position to release the CCTV image.
