FIFTY years of motocross action were celebrated at Langrish over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Sunday and Monday saw the 50th staging of the Ken Hall Trophy at Manor Farm, one of the best known venues for the sport in Europe.
Over the last half century the venue has hosted five world championship sidecar GPs, 11 British championships and 22 solo and sidecar internationals.
The very first event was staged in 1966 in memory of local rider Ken Hall.
He was a national motocross competitor until he was killed during a race in Dorset.
This year’s Ken Hall Trophy was once again organised by the Langrish Motor Cycle Racing Club.
