Club manager Sandy Turner said: “Ruth’s visit was a treat to help celebrate our 25th anniversary, which had been put on hold in September because of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.”
The not-for-profit club was launched in September 1997 to serve working parents in the village by Liss Community Association, and is an electronic- free zone which encourages children to socialise.
A variety of activities are on offer including the creation of artwork, which is displayed throughout the Triangle Centre.
