SCORES of older Petersfield folk and those with learning difficulties who would have spent Christmas Day home alone enjoyed a free lunch and entertainment courtesy of volunteers from the Petersfield Area Churches Together (PACT) alliance.
Last year the annual Christmas Day dinner was honoured at the Petersfield Awards gala evening, winning the Best Community Event category.
This year volunteer chef Marika Kincovska Kyjovska and PACT volunteers were joined by photographer Michael Clayden and flautist Shoshana Yugin Power, who celebrated her 13th birthday on Christmas Day.
The diners also watched the Queen’s Speech on a big screen in the Petersfield United Reformed Church Hall in College Street.
