LANGRISH House near Petersfield is part of local life in the villages of Langrish and Ramsdean.
This year it will be the venue for the village Christmas Fayre on Sunday, November 22, starting at 2pm.
The stalls will help with your Christmas preparations with homemade provisions from the wonderful Langirsh Larder and Christmas decorations, candles, cards, presents and much more.
Try to win a Christmas cake by guessing its weight and join in many other games and raffles.
Father Christmas will be putting in a special appearance too, you’ll find him in an especially created Christmas grotto. He will be ready to listen to Christmas wishes from children, accompanied by an adult, in the Old Vaults at Langrish House and all children will leave with a small present. There is a nominal entrance charge to see him.
You are invited to come and join us for an afternoon of seasonal fun to start your Christmas shopping, or indeed continue if you have already begun.
There will be mince pies, mulled wine, tea/coffee on offer so come and make the most of the afternoon. Entry to the event is FREE and your entry ticket will enter you into a raffle, drawn towards the end of the afternoon. FREE parking also provided. The Fayre will close at 4.30 pm.
All proceeds will go to St. John the Evangelist church Langrish and Reverend Jane Ball, vicar of the Parish is thrilled to be supporting everyone taking part. She said, “It’s great to see the community pull together and both villages are committed in putting on a great event. It’s our first Christmas Fayre and we’re all looking forward to it”.
Continuing the Christmas theme, the Scratch Nativity play will take place at Langrish church on Thursday, December 24, at 4pm.
