THE ANNUAL Christmas fair for The Rosemary Foundation raised more than £2,500 for the hospice at home charity.
Of the amount raised, about £1,700 was in donations, and the remaining £1,800 from stalls at the fair in East Meon village hall.
A Rosemary Foundation spokesman said: “It was brilliant, it went very well and was really well supported.
“There were more tables selling things like Christmas gifts than ever before, it was a great success.
“The Rosemary Foundation doesn’t get any outside funding, we have to raise all the money we need ourselves, we rely on events like the fair and donations for funding and would like to thank everyone who came to the fair.”
As well as stalls, there was a tombola and raffle at the fair on Saturday (November 26) from 10am to 12.30pm, and the £1 entry included tea or coffee and a festive minced pie.
