THE DECEMBER meeting of Liss Area Historical Society is also the Christmas Social.

The meeting will be on Thursday, December 10, at 7.30pm in the Triangle, Liss, and 30 years of the society will be celebrated. The talk, by Dr Bob France, is titled What the Butler Saw.

The Christmas Social will follow the talk. People attending are asked to bring a plate of food to share, a drink and a suggested donation of £3 per person. The society has published its Christmas quiz, which costs £1 and will be available at the meeting or at the Triangle.
