CHURCHER’S College Junior School entered a team for the Petersfield Sport Relief run. Each lap was half a mile and the minimum run was two laps – one mile.
It was a very cold morning but everyone soon warmed up. Freddie Barham led the race, finishing the mile in first place with his brother Tom not far behind.
Everyone completed at least one mile, with many achieving three miles. The team raised at least £600 for Sport Relief and thanked everyone who sponsored them.
The team included William Bailey, Alice, Freddie and Tom Barham, Lily Brady, Rory Conder, Oliver Foulkes, Zara Hassanali, Archie, Freddie and Ollie Maughan-Taylor, Isobel and Louise Reed, Lucas and Harrison Reeves, Alice and Georgie Stratton Brown and Ari, Alex and Jackson Wilks, as well as six mothers.
