The boss of a south of Butser community centre has urged villagers to come together for its biggest party of the year.
The Clanfield Summer Festival will return on Saturday (June 27) with a programme of live music, performances, food and family-friendly activities.
Proceeds from the free event off Endal Way from midday to 6pm will support the centre’s café, activities, social groups and wider work in the East Hampshire community.
And there’s another great reason to take part as proceeds from an on-site raffle will go to the Rowans Hospice.
“The Summer Festival is one of the highlights of the year for us,” said centre manager, Natasha Glover.
“It is always wonderful to see the community come together and enjoy the day. The funds raised make a real difference – both for Rowans Hospice and in helping us continue to support people throughout the year.

“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back,” added Natasha before thanking sponsors Develotec, Zebra Business Thinking, BW Plumbing and Heating, Scope Innovations and Solar Powerful.
Revellers can expect live music from the likes of Local Vocals, Counterfeits, Beth Hendrick and Midnight Dynamite while a bar and grill will serve drinks, burgers and hot dogs throughout the day.
Kids can enjoy unlimited soft play for £5 with further highlights including a giant bubble workshop and dog competitions. Ride on Rascals will bring their cars and trikes to the tennis courts while The Cuddle Corner petting farm will give visitors the chance to meet and handle a range of animals.
Community First will run shuttle buses every 30 minutes from Peel Park, South Lane Meadow, Hawthorn Road and First Avenue, with a suggested donation of £2 per person.
Blue Badge parking will be available onsite but must be pre-booked by calling 023 9421 1650. For more information, visit www.clanfieldcentre.co.uk
