CHURCH halls, pubs, supermarket and beauty salons were transformed into tea rooms last Friday, September 25, for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
But the fund-raising for MacMillan isn’t over yet – as the sound of the kettle boiling will be a frequent one today (Wednesday, September 30), at a Clanfield venue.
There’s an added incentive for villagers to pop into Clanfield Farmhouse as the first 50 people to visit the South Lane premises will receive a goodie bag.
Organisers hope the proceeds from this year’s event, which will run from 10.30am to 6.30pm, will exceed the £450 they raised in 2014.
Check out pages 20 and 21 of today’s Post for a roundup on how the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning went down in villages either side of Butser.
