Petersfield Museum’s extensive photographic archive holds over 100,000 photographs of life in Petersfield and the surrounding villages.

Dating as far back as the Victorian period, these photographs represent all areas of life in Petersfield and act as a window into Petersfield in days gone by.

This photograph shows some young boys climbing all over a water bath in The Square.

The building behind them was demolished in 1970 and replaced by the library, while the water bath is now a flower planter.

Do you recognise any of these young boys?

If so, we would love to hear from you.
