SOUTH Western Railway passengers affected by the Easter closure of Guildford station will be able to use the Alton line.

The station will be closed between Friday, April 10, and Sunday, April 19, and the rail company said: “We can confirm customers with monthly or longer season tickets from Farncombe, Godalming, Milford, Witley, Haslemere, Liphook, Liss, Petersfield and Rowlands Castle may travel from any station on the Alton line to London as an alternative.
