COLD callers have been on the prowl again in Petersfield and East Hampshire according to police reports.
Several residents have been cold called by people claiming to be from companies who sell products door to door.
“There are legitimate doorstep traders,” said PCSO Darryl Hook in making the warning last Wednesday.
“But there is a risk you may be pressured into buying something you do not want or that is not good value for money from rogue salespeople.”
Residents who suspect they’ve been visited by a cold caller should call 101 on Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
