POLICE?commissioner Simon Hayes has outlined his four main aims for the Hampshire service for 2016.

These are:?improving frontline policing, supporting victims and witnesses, reducing crime and anti-social behaviour and a cut down on re-offending.

The Police and ?Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight revealed his vision as he marks his third year in office.

His priorities for the year are outlined in his updated Police and Crime Plan, which will be in place until 2017.

He said:?“This update presents a timely opportunity to showcase all that has been achieved since I have been in office.”

His strategies continued to be shaped by members of the community across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Victims and witnesses would continue to be placed at the heart of criminal justice and social change was to be embraced to bring about a real and lasting reduction in crime.
