THOSE who suffer from diabetes in East Hampshire are being reminded to book for the Annual Diabetes Patients’ Conference.

The event, called “Know your Limits” is on Thursday 12th November from 9.15 am until 4pm in The Entertainments Hall of St James Hospital in Portsmouth.

The programme has been planned to help people who have diabetes to hear about new treatments, diets and healthy eating, as well as finding answers to questions about the condition.

Event spokesman Caron Bell said: “Numbers are limited in number and in the past two years we have been oversubscribed. An early reservation is definitely recommended. People from a large area attend each year. “

Admission is £5 per person, payable at the door, and includes the cost of a healthy buffet lunch and refreshments during the day.
