A CONTROVERSIAL planning application at land at Lowsley Farm, Lark Rise, Liphook, has been rejected by the planning committee at East Hampshire District Council (EHDC).

The outline application was for phase one of 155 houses and additional phases for a total of 175 houses with associated access, car parking and public open space following the demolition of five houses.
